About Makar Rashi (Capricorn)
Makar is the first rashi of Shani (Saturn), planet of discipline, time and hard-won reward. Moon-in-Makar natives are ambitious, patient and deeply responsible — they climb steadily, respect structure and rarely quit. That endurance builds real, lasting success, but Saturn’s seriousness can turn to coldness or pessimism, so letting warmth and rest in is how Makar keeps the climb worth it.

What is the difference between Makar rashi and Capricorn sun sign?
Makar rashi is your Vedic Moon sign, based on where the Moon actually sat at your birth. Capricorn as a "sun sign" is the Western tropical zodiac. They often differ, and Vedic rashifal always uses the Moon sign — which is why your true rashi may not match your popular sun sign.
